Bro5: A “Boy Band” with Real Instrument Skills, Dynamic Vocals and Compelling Performances

Posted June 18, 2014 by Peter Burns in Headlines

Bro5 was just voted 2014 Best Band in the Tri-State by #1 radio station Power 95 WPLJ 95.5 FM listeners.  Their anti-bullying video “Bruises” ( is getting noticed and played on VH1 and MTV.

These VH1 finalists are five teen-aged brothers (Bro5), standing up for what they believe in, making music that definitely makes a difference, tackling important issues head on, spreading positive messages, giving back and having fun along the way.

They love to perform and many fans and observers of their performances say that Bro5  would best be described up as Beatle-Direction.  Think the Beatles meet One Direction as teenagers.  Yeah – a young band of five rocking, dancing and harmonizing over extremely danceable beats. They are 5 brothers (same mother and father) forming a 5-piece teenage “Boy Band” with real instrument skills, dynamic vocals and compelling performances.

Bro5’s music is pop/rock, exclusively G-rated, radio friendly, very energetic and engaging. As is typical with family groups, they have a synergy of accents, identical intonation, similar body language and unison.  This “band of brothers” also has pedigree. Their great grandfather started his own band, their grandfather was in bands and their father played in a band with his brothers.  If Bro5  has it their way, their children, grand and great grand kids will also form bands.  Levi/Skyler/Madison/Casey/JD – (Alam).

Bro5  is powerful and ready for prime-time.   We encourage everyone to watch their videos and share them with friends.

JD Alam: Vocals, Guitar

Skyler Alam: Vocals, Drums

Levi Alam: Vocals, Keyboard

Madison Alam: Vocals, Bass Guitar
