Los Angeles alternative rock band, Sounds Safe has released their 4-track Ep “Perfect Day”, through Dairyland Music, during May 2015. Apart from the title track the instrumental Ep contains the songs “Angelique”, “Mmm Yeah Yeah Yeah” and “Straight Ahead”.

The summertime pop-rock and dance beats, the electronic loops and over driven guitar are all here, albeit with a fresh coat of paint and some challenging vocal samples that demands repeated listens. Sounds Safe is an eclectic band that delivers a hybrid mix of sounds and styles on the “Perfect Day” EP.

Sounds Safe’s bread-and-butter is their ability to take modern indie rock and fuse it with a banging beat and every unusual vocal phrase they can fit into the rhythm! This saves them from being typecast to one particular style as they keep exploring new sounds.

In short, this EP is a real tribute to Sounds Safe’s resiliency in style. “Perfect Day” proves to be rife with songs that elicit strong visceral reactions and for many of the songs there will likely be a new interpretation for each listening.
