Yung Bru delivers great metaphors and punch lines.

Yung Bru is a 23 year old audio engineer, rapper, producer & mentor living and working in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bru first began writing music at the age of 14, by 16 he started performing while attending high school, at the age of 20 while earning his degree Yung Bru dominated the Pittsburgh music with his solid live performances, stage presence and a loyal growing fanbase.Yung Bru is currently making noise with his newest release “Shot of Patron” which is distributed by Arucca Flyboy.(This is the labels 21st release this year).

Yung Bru integrates style and technique elements from a lot of different artists in rap, hip-hop and beyond; but makes sure he always brings his own flavor in order to take it in an original direction. “My biggest influences I’d have to say are Bone Thugz & Harmony, Biggie Smalls and Eminem,” says Yung Bru.

Yung Bru is a breath of fresh air to the hip-hop game. Dont let “Shot of Patron” fool you, this is not a pop record. This track takes it, for the most part, back to the basics, as Yung Bru forges a gritty, raspy delivery with some hardcore lyrics. The production is fantastic and he’s actually bringing back a storytelling aspect to hip hop. Remember that? Well, it’s on here!

Yung Bru delivers great metaphors and punch lines, as well as bring high energy into the booth with him. He’s got a lot of skill both on the mic and behind the mixing desk. Currently he is also focusing on building a foundation for the future by growing not only as an artist but also as an audio engineer, able to produce, record, mix and master all of his own beats and tracks.

Yung Bru

“Shot of Patron” by Yung Bru shows a rapper willing to experiment with his art. I sense a young rap artist hell bent on expressing himself, and doing it all in the most ear-catching way possible.
