Dan Miftari is a singer/songwriter born in Struga Macedonia. At the age of 2 years old his folks moved to the U.S. As a young child growing up in the States, he fell in love with music quickly. However, before picking up any instrument, he had a passion for dancing. Specially Break dancing, in the alleys of the city of Chicago IL, on cardboards. Today, Dan is more of a rocker, but as a growing child, he listened to Michael Jackson and Prince.

It was during his teen years, when he met a few friends who played the guitar, that musical instruments really caught his eye. Dan was in awe the first time he saw someone play Stairway to Heaven, and from that point on, the guitar became part of his life.

After joining a few bands and playing the bars of Chicagoland, today Dan is working on a solo project and an upcoming album.

ReviewIndie recently had the chance to view Dan Miftari’s video for the single – “Both Times It Was You.”

Shot out in the greenfields, under a bright sun and using beautiful pastel colors, the video emanates a positively happy vibe that ties in with the lyrics and music perfectly.

Dan slides through the video frames with natural ease as “Both Times It Was You” runs above a driving acoustic-guitar based rhythm section.

The power of the music and the words gradually build to a bracing statement of a search for a loving relationship with that one special girl.

This very direct, carefree yet emotional style, the clever lyrics and the catchy chorus line, demonstrates that Dan Miftari is a talented up-and-coming, pop singer-songwriter.

The cherry on top is added by Burim Memeti’s guitar interludes on the song.

You can find Dan Miftari’s music on iTunes, Amazon, Emusic, Spotify, Jango, LastFM and more.
